Half-baked thinking can be a bad thing if you are intending to do something of great importance.
But! It can also be a great thing to learn things faster and build confidence.
“Analysis paralysis” is something many of us deal with when getting started with new projects, hobbies, or ideas. We dwell on the what-ifs so much that we never get started. Analysis isn’t anything bad, and when it comes to serious and important long-term planning it is, in fact, good.
Many of us, however, just want to explore some new topics and learn and have fun. This is where I believe being “half-baked” can help. This is nothing new, just a more fun way to say it. Don’t worry so much about the details, do what you think is right and learn along the way.
That’s just, like, your opinion man!
Correct! There is no need to take what I say as a universal ideology. I found a mindset that works for me. Perhaps others will agree. One could even say this philosophy itself is “half-baked,” and you’d probably be right. Still, I believe in the idea that we should go forth and do stuff, explore, and mess up from time to time learning along the way.
What if …?
I promise you I have not thought that far ahead.
